Annie has completed over 700 hours of study as a certified yoga teacher with expertise in Vinyasa and Therapeutic styles of yoga.
She completed her initial 200-hour teaching certification with Johnny Nasello at Ananda Yoga and Detox Center in Koh Pagnan, Thailand, followed by a 100-hour advanced Bhakti Flow training with Rusty Wells in San Francisco, and a 300-hour training in Integrative Yoga Therapy with Joseph Le Page at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Most recently she completed a 200-hour vinyasa training with Lakshmi Rising School for Yoga and Wellness while participating in their 5-month residential culinary internship program. She is also working towards her professional certification in Integrative Yoga Therapy. In addition to her formal training, she has nurtured her love of yoga through in-depth study of Patanjali’s yoga sutras with Kate Holcombe, as well as by completing an assisting intensive with Janet Stone.
Annie teaches in the San Francisco Bay Area, and her intention is to teach safe and healing movement classes that will leave the body feeling great both moments and years into the future.
She also holds a master’s degree in Positive Organizational Psychology and nourishes many with her delicious plant-based cooking. She draws upon her diverse knowledge of psychology and yoga to help each person peel back the layers to access a life of health and joy.
