I am a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner, practicing Holy Fire Reiki. I began Reiki training with Lori Torok, MA, RMT at Eloia Healing Arts Temecula Reiki Center in 2018. I use a combination of healing modalities alongside Reiki including crystals, aromatherapy, sound, and art. In addition to being a Reiki practitioner, I am an artist and am currently working towards my art degree.

Growing up, I knew that I was different,.I was more creative and sensitive than anyone I knew. Not knowing how to express these things in a healthy way, I turned to drugs and alcohol. In 1994, I was able to get clean and sober and begin my journey of healing. Being in recovery through a 12 step program was just my beginning. As I began to embrace my identity, I began to receive guidance from the same voices in my head that I tried to drown out with alcohol and drugs. I had been hearing these voices tell me to take yoga for about a year before I decided to listen. After deciding to seek out a yoga class, a customer in my line at Trader Joe’s began to describe how much yoga had helped her with her fibromyalgia. I inquired about her studio and actually ended up scheduling a class. Terrified, I sat in my car outside her studio…..I’m not a “yoga” kind of girl, I don’t have a “yoga” kind of body, what was I thinking? Jackie from A Radiant Life welcomed me into her studio, making me feel comfortable and loved. Yoga with Jackie was so much more than I could have ever imagined; it was life changing. She was also my first experience with reiki. As she lovingly guided me through some deep healing of my throat chakra, she introduced me to the possibility that those voices in my head were really there to help me heal and live my best life. I later learned that the loving and healing guides that I am surrounded by were also encouraging me to utilize their help in healing others as well.

Working with a client and seeing them drop old traumas, patterns, and behaviors has been an incredible gift. I was thrilled when Jackie asked me to join her team of healers. I’m constantly striving to learn more, I have completed training in herbal remedies, essential oils and culinary arts. My alcoholism caused me to drop out of school in my senior year of high school, however in May of 2019, I was able to receive my GED. I currently attend Mt. San Jacinto Community College where I am working on a degree in art. I enjoy drawing, painting, jewelry making, baking, and all things creative, crafty, and artistic. I enjoy being able to infuse reiki into my artwork to bring even more healing to the world.
